Drive through really high prices for the thin & tough sandwich I got, not like it is to be 10 yrs ago at all. Lots of worker still a long wait, got a 2 pastrami sandwich ,1 fried mushroom & 1 small soda $ 33 bucks. Not much meat, dry & tough.. NOT WORTH IT! I can buy a 12 oz soda at a store depending what I got 99 cents to 2.50 & there it was 3.00 mostly ice..ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS..I WILL NOT EVER RETURN.. LESS PRODUCT, LESS QUALITY, LESS EVERYTHING...& WAY OVER PRICED.. oh yea if you want a complete meal sandwich, fry,soda is just under a 20.00...no,no,no, not worth it!

Man I’ve been going here since I was a child and had amazing memories of it. I haven’t been here in years due to living far away. When most places get worse or fade away, I was pleasantly surprised to see after years that this place is better than I ever remembered. Great service, great food. I’ll go out of my way to eat here from now on.

The fact that I can smell their delicious food from my house is problematic because I have a weakness for fried potatoes and great burgers! And don't even get me started on their shakes. Let's put it this way, when my mother-in-law comes for a visit she buys 2 at a time so she can put one in the freezer for later. Their prices are a wee bit high for a burger joint but the quality of the food makes it worth it.

The standard consensus seems to be, 'a little pricey', I concur. I had the DOUBLE BURGER, FRIES & DRINK MEAL at $17.18 or 3 gallons of gas at today's prices. Everything seems to be FRESH, the freshly ground Angus beef, the lettuce, tomato, onion & pickle all had that FRESH, CRISP TASTE! The beef was not that tasty... I believe it is fresh Angus, just did not have much flavor to it. The fries are plentiful, FRESH and THICK they have that potato taste with just a tad too much salt. Not enough to drive you away, but, enough to make you aware. They were very tasty both well done and crispy as well as medium, tender and juicy, perfect combination for fries. "No coke, just Pepsi" so I enjoyed a Dr.Pepper. When driving by one would not think, 'Hey, that place looks nice, let's go there' as I have driven by HUNDREDS OF TIMES and never stopped. I did stop today as I saw the rating/review at 4.5! THAT I WILL ASSUME is why everyone stops in either the reviews OR... just out of curiosity. ANYWAY... My rating of 4.0 is a result of the $17.18 price tag and the urge was lacking that BEEF FLAVOR. BOTTOMLINE:... The burger, fries and Dr. Pepper were NOT worth $17.18! I will probably not go back, I was actually thinking about going to Carl's Jr. for my double burger and went to the VILLAGE DRIVE-IN as a result of the reviews. Enjoy your meal and... BE$T TO YOU!

Incredibly happy to find a place like this so close to home! I've been craving a place that makes burgers and fries similar to Foster's freeze for a while now. This place does similar style food, better fries, -and- I don't have to drive to Lodi to get it! Burger was a touch dry for me, but I also don't get any sauce in my burger so that's more on me than anything else. That said, the flavor of the burger was fantastic and you can really taste the freshness compared to other places. The fries were crunchy and salty, delicious. The only thing else I can say I'd that sometimes the drive-thru line takes a bit, but the food is something I'm willing to wait for. Please support local business like these so we can continue to have delicious non-chain food near us.
